The Reason...

Jesus is the reason for the season; I don't think any other sentiment could be more exact. Christmas has become so commercialized and worldly that many of us quickly become consumed with the hustle and bustle of the season rather than taking time to reflect on the miraculous birth of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. I admit I commonly become entangled amongst the holiday bustle but year after year I remind myself to focus on what this season is truly about- CHRISTmas. Because of my strong conviction in the meaning behind this festive season, Christmas, I fell head over heels over this stamp, Jesus is the reason. I could not wait to ink up this stamp and declare to the world that Jesus is the reason for the season!

This past Monday we had a Christmas celebration for our Bible study group and we were all instructed to be an ornament for an ornament exchange- of course I didn't hesitate to create one with this sentiment:

I hope you and yours are having a Blessed holiday season and that even amongst the hustle and bustle you are able to stop and reflect on the true meaning of this season. I Thank You for hopping by today- now hop on over top AJ's Blog for some more hip hoppin goodness :)

*PS- I apologize for the glare on the photo; I must of took about 30 photos but I could not get one without a glare on the Christmas bulb. If anyone has any hints on how to effectively take photos of Christmas bulbs, I would love to hear ;)
