At it again

Uh oh, I've been at it again...I got the chalk board paint open :) :) :)!!!!

I am not even exaggerating when I tell you, that when ever I open the can of chalkboard paint, I literally walk around my house to see what else I can paint with chalkboard paint. This time around this pumpkin got the coat :)
I thought it was pretty fun and you can really do quite a bit with it:
*Count down the days until Halloween

* Write down what year it is and take your child's pic. by it every Halloween when they are dressed up
* Write fun messages to your family/friends/guest on it
* Write out your fav. recipe for pumpkin pie and gift it with a pie to give to your neighbor or friend
* Greet your house guest or trick or treaters

I'm sure there are a million other things you can do with it, SO you must make one and have some chalkboard pumpkin loving fun for yourself!

I added a bit of pizzaz to the top of my chalk pumpkin by glittering some fall leaves and adding some twigs. I thought this curly twig would be great to add because it allows me to slip my chalk right in :) Linking up to Visit thecsiproject.com

I don't care how many people link up to this party this is the blue ribbon winner! What a FABULOUS IDEA. I have a globe I want to chalkboard paint (saw it on some blog, somewhere ...) but I'm afraid it will cause my kids geography grades to drop dramatically. But back to you, this is brilliant! Thank you for sharing! Share MORE! Jules

Sorry for the double comment, but when I read your bio and saw you were a fellow Christian I had to become your newest follower! XOXO Jules

You are too stinkin cute Miss Heather! I know just what you mean. When I first started painting things white, several years ago, if it stood still long enough it would get spray painted white. lol
I LUV what you did, and how you added those extra details like the curly twig to hold the chalk and you even took it up another notch by adding all the great ways to use it!

I'll get started on mine right away!!!

LOVE this! I'm a chalkboard paint addict. Last night I painted little chalkboard squares onto cardstock for wine label covers. We had a little wine tasting party...and they looked so cute. I'll be copying this.
Thank you!
