Oh my...

Where has the time gone? I've had good intentions on keeping up with this blog this year but time keep slipping away from me! I hope you all had a lovely Valentines Day last week :)! Mine was quite superb...hubby and I fixed a nice meal at home (we never want to battle the crowds) and just enjoyed each other. I do have to share this cute story with you all; he was so excited to give me the Valentine card he had carefully picked out..when I say excited he wanted me to open it before V.Day but I told him I wanted to wait. Well when the time came for us to exchange cards he came bounding into the dining room with my crown (from my pageant days), plopped the crown on my head, handed me my card, and then sat down with a huge smile on his face. When I opened the card there was a picture of Barbie (as in the doll) staring at me..inside he wrote, "to my very own Cinderella" OK now I see where he was going with this; see David doesn't know much about Disney (I have a lot of training to do in this area) so when he came across this card of Barbie where she was wearing a blue dress, had a crown on her head, and had blonde hair he had assumed it was Cinderella. He was so proud of himself that he found this 'perfect' card for his princess..but then I had to burst his bubble and explain that it was not Ciderella but rather Barbie :)..I thought it was super cute of him though!!

Anyhow, I have been busy creating and as soon as the projects I've been working on are finished I will share some pics. In the meantime I hope life is treating you all well! We have been blessed to be spending some time with my in-laws (we haven't seen them since our wedding a year and a half ago)so this time together is such a blessing! Have a great Sunday evening...

That is so sweet, and so....GUY! I love it! I think maybe it is a GOOD THING he is confused on such topics. LOL I hope that I have raised boys that will put that kind of effort into Valentines Day for their sweeties one day! That is the best story! Hope you have a wonderful Friday!
