Bad blogger...

My oh my, I have been a horrible blogger as of late! This new house and new job have turned my life upside down (in a good way of course). Oh yes, I did say new job; as of a few weeks back, I am officially a working woman once again. I am so blessed to have been offered a position with Geico (as in the gecko). Last week was my first week at the office and it was great (interesting but great). This week I have been at insurance school; I have to obtain my casuality and property liscensing in order to quote so hopefully I will have that under my bealt very soon! In my short time I've been employed in the insurance arena, I have gained a much deeper appreciation for what both my dad and grandfather have been employeed in for many, MANY years. I admit, at the moment I'm a bit stressed because this insurance class has crammed 20 chapters of information into 2 days of classes (I can't even think straight right now-LOL). The next step will involve A LOT of studying on my part and then on to the exam. I will take all the prayers I can get to pass this exam the first time around as word has it, it is nearly impossible to pass (apparently the average score on it is 74 and you must receive a 70 in order to apply for your liscense).

Well enough of that....this is what else I have been consumed with lately-
David and I have officially been in our new home for about 6 weeks now and as you can imagine pretty much all of our free time has been spent trying to get settled. Our friend 'HappyGod' from church has been so gracious in assisting us with much of the electrical work in our home (hanging up ceiling fans, wiring for our chandeleirs, etc). I've been told that it takes about 1 year to get settled when you move so I'm confident that the Lord is using this move/new home to develop my patience ;). I'm typically one who does not have very much patience so this is a bit of a challenge for me. I'm confident that with time each and every white wall of our home will gain personality as we splash (paint) some color and give life to these walls and rooms. I have big plans for this home but all in due time :). Anyhow, as you can see from the photo the 'boys' make sure that hanging chandleleirs and ceiling fans is not all work...must have some play too- boys ;)

I apologize that I have been such a bad blogger and hope soon my life will gain some 'normalcy'...if there is such a thing. Hope your days are bringing you much happiness :)
