Baby, It's cold outside...

OK, not really but it sounded like a catchy title for todays post; especially since both of my projects use my favorite stamp from the new December KOTM. I'm sure where most of you live, it probably is cold outside but when you live amongst the cactus in the hot AZ sun it is a rarity to have a cold day (I wish it was cold right now- it would seem more like Christmas weather). Anyhow, I've had some fun inkin up my new rubber..This is what I came up with-

Cold Hands Warm Heart Used a cuttlebug embossing folder to create the swirls and then I added some 'snow & ice' embossing powder on top of the embossed swirls for some added dimension- I liked the way it turned out :). I also used flocking powder on the white circle with the mittens on top but that is difficult to see from this photo.

To Warm Your Heart
Is the perfect little gift to bring to your neighbor during your next snow storm. Simply fill a festive mug with your favorite hot beverage and in instant you have a small token that will surely warm their heart!

Well my friends, I hope you are having a wonderful December! If you have not yet seen the KOTM for December make sure you check it out. Now hop on over to the ultra talented and sweet blog of my friend Patter Cross

Heather, these are such delightfully festive holiday treats! That card is most beautiful and truly looks as if it should be framed and hung up for all to enjoy thru the holidays! That mug gift idea is so nice too! I just might take your inspiration and do this for a few deserving neighbors of mine :) TFS and happy hip hop! xoxo
