Thankful

Today and always, I'm thankful for the many blessings in my life. The blessing of the opportunity to design for wonderful companies such as Unity Stamp Co. The blessing of friends like you who stop by my blog each week and are always so supportive of my art. The ability to create and share with you all is truly such a wonderful blessing in my life!!

In honor of the Thanksgiving holiday we will celebrate tomorrow, I wanted to share some last minute gift ideas for hip hop this week. This is my rendition of Autumn Bread (pumpkin bread with cranberries hidden inside).

Autumn Bread {from the Gooseberry Patch Flavors of Fall Cookbook}
2-1/4c. all purpose flour 2c. sugar 1T.pumpkin pie spice 15-oz. can pumpkin
2t. baking powder 1/2c. oil 1/2t. salt 1c. cranberries
2 eggs

Combine flour, pumpkin pie spice, baking powder, and salt in a large bowl (set aside). Blend eggs, sugar, pumpkin and oil together in a small mixing bowl; add to the flour mixture. Stir until moistened; fold in cranberries. Spoon batter into greased loaf pans. Bake at 350 degrees for 55 to 60 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Enjoy!

And this is a fun packaging idea to encase one of my favorite treats this time of year- Pumpkin Spice Coffee...yummy!

Well I do wish you all a very Happy Thanksgiving. May you reflect on the many Blessings in your life and give Thanks for the love of all who surround you. Happy Thanksgiving my friends!

Now hop on over to my ultra talented stamping friend Jennifer Buck's Blog
