Start the New Year off with a shabby calendar....

This is my first design team assignment for Heart in Hand Scraps A remix of the fabulous Linda Albrecht shabby calendar class offered at Heart in Hand. As a creative team member for Heart in Hand I have the assignment of taking these fabulous creative classes offered and giving them my own twist by either replicating the project with a differing color/paper scheme or by taking the over all concept and taking it in a new direction- How awesome is that...I feel so privileged and blessed to be a part of this team!!! It is such a phenomenal concept and hey with the New Year quickly approaching this shabby calendar is a must! You can find the class here Complete with step by step instructions and photos you will not want to pass this up....all for just $7.00. There are also a few free classes over at Heart in Hand so be sure to go over there and check it out...It can't make crafting anymore convenient for you- a plethora of classes, the comfort of completing them on your time in the comforts of your own home, and the ability to tweak the classes to match your own home decor palette or interest....Start clicking and creating today ;)....

My variation of Linda's Shabby Calendar utilizes a metal sheet behind the patterned paper so the whole calendar base is magnetic (all the flower embellishments have magnets attatched to the back of them); this makes it a cinch to leave notes and 'to do' list attached. TFL
