Wowzers...I've been on a B-I-G blogging hiatus, Sorry! Life has been very busy for me but in a great way :) I hope to not neglect my blog any longer though. Even though I haven't been blogging I can assure you I've been busy, busy crafting away :) Will share some of the projects I've been creating in the next few days/blog post.
First things first though- Can you believe it is already Back to School time here in AZ?!? I've been living here for almost 7 years and that is the one thing I can never grasp on to- school starts the end of July-beginning of Aug. here!! It just doesn't seem right to me as growing up in S.California we always started school after labor day. Anyhoo, with the kiddos headed back to school it was time to come up with some fun Back to School ideas to share on Sonoran Livingtoday. If you missed the segment you can see it here:
Much thanks to Cakes by Cassiefor the fabulous school themed cookies and the adorable apple cake pop pencil toppers (they were super yummy to boot :)! And of course this segment wouldn't have been complete without the great talents of the ladies over at Anders Ruffand their new School Day printable collection. Don't forget to pick up your FREE printable luggage tag/backpack tag here.
PS- I have the silhouette totes (Customizable with your own childs silhoutte)
And the school ornaments
Available in my Etsy shop now :)
And for those of you who know me well- here's a lil' laugh for you
Do you know how difficult it is to take pics. with an almost 8 month old german shephard puppy around!?!

Hi Heather. I just found your blog from your feature on Sonoran Living. I've been reading past entries and wanted to say I'm so sorry for the loss of your dog. We have a german shephard who is 12 years old now. We all love him dearly, especially our almost 4 year old daughter and our 5 year old son. I have many pictures like yours when they were babies next to him :)I can't imagine being without him.
Love your blog. I'll be sure to keep checking back for new projects.
Becky
Heather - Your feature on Sonoran Living inspired me to buy the Back to School collection and personalize my daughter's school supplies. The only problem is...I can't figure out how to personalize them like you did with her name. Any suggestions? THANKS!
Your countdown chalk paint pumpkin just popped up on Pinterest. Love it.
Great idea.
