At the end of my last post, some of you may recall that our German Shepard, Duke was undergoing surgery; Well it didn't go well. We received a phone call from the vet yesterday telling us that he had stopped breathing when the anesthesia was administered. Apparently he had a reaction from the anesthesia and stopped breathing for 15 minutes!! Needless to say they did not go through with the surgery so we are left with our dear pooch who still has a torn ligament in his knee, a $500 vet bill (even though they haven't done a thing), and a lot of worry about what we're going to do from here...Please keep Duke in your prayers. Those of you that know David and I well know that our pets are our children- we aren't ready to loose our big guy yet!
